Parkwood Leisure, one of the United Kingdom’s leading leisure providers, has been awarded Swim Wales Learn to Swim Accreditation.

As a Swim Wales Accredited Provider, Parkwood’s Learn to Swim Programme has been recognised for providing excellence in their delivery, governance and sustainability. More importantly, Parkwood have demonstrated that they are giving their learners the best possible Learn to Swim experience at their sites.

Parkwood manage 75 sites across the UK including Cardiff International Pool and Plas Menai National Outdoor Centre, where they provide opportunities for participants to learn lifesaving and life-enhancing aquatic skills at all levels.

Swim Wales Learn to Swim Accreditations are the quality mark for swim schools and operators delivering Learn to Swim Programmes in Wales, and National Learn to Swim Manager Hanna Guise is delighted to see Parkwood’s commitment to providing their learners with the highest quality learn to swim offer.

Available to all providers across the nation, the two-tiered accreditation has been launched to ensure the best quality learn to swim programmes are operating across the country.

The standard accreditation will enable providers to demonstrate compliance to industry standards and safeguarding guidelines in relation to learn to swim provision, while a Gold Accredited Provider will be recognised for excellence in governance, sustainability and effectiveness – the award demonstrates the provider is delivering the best possible Learn to Swim experience for all.

The Swim Wales Accredited Provider status is available to all organisations in Wales delivering a recognised Learn to Swim Programme.

The Swim Wales Gold Accredited Provider status is available to organisations in Wales delivering at least one element of the Learn to Swim Wales framework.

This includes swim schools, local authority operators, leisure trusts, private leisure providers and multi-site organisations.

Parkwood Leisure yn cael Achrediad Dysgu i Nofio

Mae Parkwood Leisure, un o brif ddarparwyr hamdden y Deyrnas Unedig, wedi cael achrediad Dysgu Nofio gan Nofio Cymru.  

Fel un o Ddarparwyr Achrededig Nofio Cymru, mae rhaglen Dysgu Nofio Parkwood wedi cael ei chydnabod am ragoriaeth y ddarpariaeth, y rheolaeth a’r cynaliadwyedd. Yn bwysicach fyth, mae Parkwood wedi arddangos eu gallu i gynnig y profiad Dysgu Nofio gorau posib i ddysgwyr yn eu safleoedd. 

Mae Parkwood yn rheoli 75 o safleoedd ar draws y Deyrnas Unedig, gan gynnwys Pwll Rhyngwladol Caerdydd a Chanolfan Awyr Agored Genedlaethol Plas Menai, lle maent yn cynnig cyfleoedd i ddysgu sgiliau dŵr all achub a gwella bywydau ar bob lefel.

Achrediadau Dysgu Nofio gan Nofio Cymru yw’r nod ansawdd ar gyfer ysgolion dysgu nofio a gweithredwyr sydd yn cynnig Rhaglenni Dysgu Nofio yng Nghymru, ac mae’r Rheolwraig Dysgu Nofio Genedlaethol, Hanna Guise, yn falch iawn o weld ymroddiad Parkwood i gynnig y ddarpariaeth Dysgu Nofio orau i’w dysgwyr. 

 “Mae hyn yn newyddion gwych i Parkwood Leisure a’u dysgwyr,” meddai Hanna Guise, Rheolwraig Dysgu Nofio Cenedlaethol Nofio Cymru. “Mae bod yn Ddarparwr Dysgu Nofio Achrededig yn dangos eu hymrwymiad i gynnig darpariaeth o ansawdd uchel yn unol â fframwaith Dysgu Nofio Cymru.

“Mae Parkwood yn esiampl wych i ddarparwyr hamdden eraill, wrth iddynt barhau i ymdrechu i gynnig yr amgylchedd dysgu nofio gorau posib ar gyfer eu cwsmeriaid a’u gweithlu.”

Mae’r achrediad dwy haen, sydd ar gael ar gyfer pob darparwr ledled y wlad, wedi cael ei lansio er mwyn sicrhau bod y rhaglenni dysgu nofio o’r safon orau’n cael eu rhedeg ledled y wlad.

Bydd yr achrediad safonol yn galluogi darparwyr i arddangos cydymffurfiaeth â safonau’r diwydiant a chanllawiau diogelu mewn perthynas â’r ddarpariaeth Dysgu Nofio, tra bydd Darparwyr Achrededig Aur yn cael eu cydnabod am eu rhagoriaeth o ran rheolaeth, cynaliadwyedd ac effeithiolrwydd – mae’r dyfarniad yn dangos bod y darparwyr yn cyflwyno’r profiad Dysgu Nofio gorau i bawb.

Mae statws Darparwr Achrededig Nofio Cymru ar gael i bob sefydliad yng Nghymru sy’n darparu Rhaglen Dysgu Nofio gydnabyddedig.

Mae statws Darparwr Achrededig Aur Nofio Cymru ar gael ar gyfer sefydliadau yng Nghymru sydd yn darparu o leiaf un o elfennau fframwaith Dysgu Nofio Cymru.
