Wales National Pool Swansea, the home of the Swim Wales High Performance Centre, has been awarded Swim Wales Learn to Swim Accreditation as they aim to inspire the next generation.
As a Swim Wales Accredited Provider, Wales National Pool Swansea’s Learn to Swim programme has been recognised for providing excellence in their delivery, governance and sustainability. More importantly, they have demonstrated that they are giving their learners the best possible Learn to Swim experience.
Wales National Pool Swansea, located in the heart of Swansea Bay Sports Park, boasts a state of the art, eight lane 50 meter pool which can be divided into two pools with its unique moveable floor, and a separate four lane 25m Training Pool.
The facilities cater for a diverse range of aquatic activity, from their Learn to Swim and Nofio Ysgol programmes to international events featuring some of the world’s elite athletes.
Swim Wales Learn to Swim Accreditations are the quality mark for swim schools and operators delivering Learn to Swim Programmes in Wales, and National Learn to Swim Manager Hanna Guise is delighted to see the commitment Wales National Pool Swansea have for providing their learners with the highest quality experience.

Available to all providers across the nation, the two-tiered accreditation has been launched to ensure the best quality learn to swim programmes are operating across the country.
The standard accreditation will enable providers to demonstrate compliance to industry standards and safeguarding guidelines in relation to learn to swim provision, while a Gold Accredited Provider will be recognised for excellence in governance, sustainability and effectiveness – the award demonstrates the provider is delivering the best possible Learn to Swim experience for all.

The Swim Wales Accredited Provider status is available to all organisations in Wales delivering a recognised Learn to Swim Programme.
The Swim Wales Gold Accredited Provider status is available to organisations in Wales delivering at least one element of the Learn to Swim Wales framework.
This includes swim schools, local authority operators, leisure trusts, private leisure providers and multi-site organisations.

Mae Pwll Cenedlaethol Cymru, Abertawe, cartref Canolfan Perfformiad Uchel Nofio Cymru, wedi derbyn Achrediad Dysgu Nofio Cymru wrth iddyn nhw geisio ysbrydoli’r genhedlaeth nesaf.
Fel Darparwr Achrededig Nofio Cymru, mae rhaglen Dysgu Nofio Pwll Cenedlaethol Cymru Abertawe wedi cael ei chydnabod am gyflwyno rhagoriaeth o ran ei darpariaeth, ei llywodraethiant a’i chynaliadwyedd. Yn bwysicach fyth, mae’r ganolfan wedi dangos ei bod yn rhoi’r profiad Dysgu Nofio gorau posibl i’w dysgwyr.
Mae Pwll Cenedlaethol Abertawe, sydd wedi’i leoli yng nghanol Parc Chwaraeon Bae Abertawe, yn bwll o’r radd flaenaf. Mae yno wyth lôn 50 metr a gellir rhannu’r pwll yn ddau gyda’i lawr symudol unigryw a Phwll Hyfforddi pedair lôn 25m ar wahân.
Mae’r cyfleusterau’n darparu ar gyfer ystod amrywiol o weithgareddau dŵr, o’u rhaglenni Dysgu Nofio a Nofio Ysgol i ddigwyddiadau rhyngwladol sy’n cynnwys rhai o athletwyr elît y byd.
Yr Achrediadau Dysgu Nofio y mae Nofio Cymru yn eu cynnig yw’r marc ansawdd i ysgolion dysgu nofio ac i ddarparwyr Rhaglenni Dysgu Nofio yng Nghymru. Mae’r Rheolwr Dysgu Nofio Cenedlaethol Hanna Guise yn falch iawn o weld yr ymroddiad sydd gan Bwll Cenedlaethol Cymru Abertawe wrth iddyn nhw gyflwyno profiad o’r ansawdd gorau i’w dysgwyr.
“Mae hwn yn newyddion gwych i Bwll Cenedlaethol Cymru Abertawe a’u dysgwyr,” meddai Hanna Guise, Rheolwr Dysgu Nofio Cenedlaethol Nofio Cymru. “Mae dod yn Ddarparwr Achrededig Dysgu Nofio yn dangos eu hymrwymiad i ddarparu fframwaith Dysgu Nofio Cymru o ansawdd uchel.
“Mae’r tîm yn Abertawe yn esiampl wych i ddarparwyr hamdden eraill, wrth iddyn nhw barhau i ymdrechu i ddarparu’r amgylchedd dysgu nofio gorau posibl i’w cwsmeriaid a’u gweithlu.”
Lansiwyd yr achrediad dwy haen, sydd ar gael i bob darparwr ledled y wlad, er mwyn sicrhau fod rhaglenni dysgu nofio o’r ansawdd gorau yn cael eu cynnal ledled y wlad.
Bydd yr achrediad safonol yn galluogi darparwyr i ddangos eu bod yn cydymffurfio â safonau’r diwydiant a chanllawiau diogelu mewn perthynas â darpariaeth dysgu nofio, a bydd Darparwr Achrededig Aur yn cael cydnabyddiaeth am ragoriaeth o ran llywodraethu, cynaliadwyedd ac effeithlonrwydd – mae’r dyfarniad yn dangos bod y darparwr yn cynnig y profiad Dysgu Nofio gorau posibl.
Dywedodd Jeremy Cole, Rheolwr Cyffredinol gyda Phwll Cenedlaethol Cymru Abertawe, fod pawb yn y pwll wrth eu bodd o fod wedi cyflawni achrediad Nofio Cymru.
“Yn ogystal â bod yn gartref i nofwyr elît, rydyn ni hefyd yn falch o fod yn bwll cymunedol sy’n cynnig gwersi i bawb, p’un ai eich bod chi’n ddechreuwr nerfus neu’n nofiwr profiadol sy’n edrych ymlaen at wella eich sgiliau neu ddatblygu rhai newydd.
“Mae achrediad Nofio Cymru’n yn rhoi sicrwydd ardderchog i chi, p’un ai eich bod am ddysgu nofio neu fynd ymlaen tuag at y clod sy’n dod o gystadlu, bod y gwersi rydyn ni’n eu cynnig ym Mhwll Cenedlaethol Cymru Abertawe o’r safon uchaf.”
