Entries are now open for the Swim Wales Challenge Series event on Saturday 16th September at Llys Y Fran!
The Challenge series heads west following the success of the first event of the year at Llandegfedd Lake last month.
The September event is open for all, and swimmers can take advantage of a 20% saving on a team relay space when entering an individual event. With a range of distances, including 500m, 1.5km, 3km, and the thrilling 4x500m Team Relay, there’s something for everyone
A host of come and try activities will be available for those looking for an introduction to open water swimming.
For those seeking competitive opportunities, the event will incorporate the Swim Wales National Open Water Championships where Welsh champions will be crowned across a number of age groups, and it will also host the GB Masters Open Water event.
Both events are open to everyone above the age of 11 (age as of 31st December 2023), including members of Swim England, Scottish Swimming and Swim Ireland. Swimmers can compete in distances ranging from 1km to 5km in our Open Races, as well as a 2km team relay.
