Swim Wales can confirm some key updates to our Competition Calendar for 2024.
These changes have been made by the Swim Wales team following feedback from our aquatics community to improve our competitive pathway.
The National Development Meet (Long Course) will now take place on Sunday 14th July and the Swim Wales Summer Meet will be closed to Welsh swimmers for 2024.
The Swim Wales Regional Short Course Development Meets are a new addition to the Swim Wales event calendar in place of the Sub Regional Championships, and will take place on one day to give more competition opportunities to development swimmers. These events will mirror the long course National Development Meet.
The Swim Wales Winter Championships 2024 will now provisionally take place over four days from the 19/12/2024 – 22/12/2024.
