Theodora Taylor is one of Welsh swimming’s most exciting young talents, already competing against senior athletes while still in her teens. She has represented Great Britain and Wales at multiple international youth and junior championships, earning medals at the World Aquatics Junior Championships, Commonwealth Youth Games, European Youth Olympic Festival and the European Junior Swimming Championships.

Taylor made her international debut at the Commonwealth Youth Games Trinidad and Tobago 2023, where she won five individual medals for Wales. Her results included silver in the 50m freestyle (25.54) and 100m breaststroke (1:10.39), alongside bronze medals in the 50m breaststroke (32.60), 200m breaststroke (2:32.91) and 200m individual medley (2:19.59).

She continued her rise at the World Aquatics Junior Championships Otopeni 2025, winning silver in the 50m freestyle and bronze in the 100m freestyle (54.20). She also earned relay medals with silver in the 4×100m mixed freestyle relay (54.06 split) and bronze in the 4×100m medley relay (54.02 freestyle leg).

In 2026, Theodora won silver in the women’s 50m freestyle at the Aquatics GB Swimming Championships, where she also set new British age-group records in the 50m butterfly and 200m freestyle. She has since been selected to represent Great Britain at the European Aquatics Championships Paris 2026.

Known for her technical precision and competitive maturity, Theodora is widely praised by coaches for her ability to perform under pressure and excel across multiple strokes and distances.
