Sophie Davies is a freestyle swimmer hailing from Llantristant, South Wales. Sophie made her Team Wales debut at the 2023 Trinbago Commonwealth Youth Games and has gone from strength to strength since then representing Wales at senior level internationally numerous times.

Her major achievements include:

• Bronze medallist for Team Wales at the 2023 Trinbago Commonwealth Youth Games in the mixed 4x200m freestyle relay
• Multiple finalist at the Edinburgh International Meet and Aquatics GB Championships in 2026
• 2 x Gold medallist at the Welsh National Championships 2026 – 100m and 200m Freestyle.

At just 18 years of age, Sophie continues to develop as an exciting freestyle prospect for Wales and Great Britain.
