This workshop will equip you with the knowledge required to effectively engage and interact with autistic children in a swimming lesson.
During this session you will learn about:
- The characteristics of autism and challenges faced in swimming lessons
- How to positively interact with autistic children
- Making lessons engaging for autistic children
Training Format
3 hour theory based seminar with activities and checks on learning.
Who is the course designed for?
This CPD is for swimming teachers and assistants, coordinators, and school swimming teachers.
Prerequisites
You must be at least 16 years of age at the start of the course.
