We have created this combined SEQ Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) and Level 2 Teaching Swimming course so that anyone who already has experience supporting swimming lessons can complete both qualifications side by side.

You can also just attend the Level 1 elements if it is your intention to assist with Swimming Teaching in the future, or if you already hold the Level 1 you can attend the full course but must produce your Level 1 Certificate.

This qualification has been endorsed by CIMSPA as meeting the requirements of the swimming teacher professional standard.

If learners are attending the Level 2 Teaching Swimming only, they need to hold the Swim England Level 1 Swimming Assistant Teacher (or equivalent)
