Rose Williams enjoyed a remarkable breakthrough at her first international para swimming competition, representing Great Britain at the World Para Swimming World Series Lima in 2025. She won three A-final gold medals in the S14 200m Freestyle, 100m Backstroke and 200m Individual Medley, and finished the meet with an outstanding total of 11 medals across A Finals and Youth Finals.

At national level, Rose set a new Welsh S14 50m Freestyle record at the Swim Wales Summer Meet. She continued her record-breaking progress in 2026 by setting two further Welsh para records in the S14 200m Individual Medley and S14 100m Breaststroke at the Aquatics GB Swimming Championships.

Rose Williams has enjoyed a remarkable rise in British para swimming, breaking numerous Welsh S14 records, including several that had stood for many years.
