Rebecca Sutton is a swimmer from Bridgend who has represented Wales and Great Britain across youth, junior, and senior international competition.

Rebecca made her Team Wales debut back in 2017 when she was selected for the Commonwealth Youth Games in the Bahamas, where she was a finalist and was selected as Team Wales flag bearer. She made her senior debut for Team Wales at Birmingham 2022 where she was a key team member competing in both individual and relay events.

Her major recent achievements include:

• 2 x Gold medallist at the 2025 McCullagh International Meet in the 50m and 100m backstroke
• Silver medallist at the 2026 Euro Meet in the 50m Backstroke
• 4th place finish at the 2022 Commonwealth Games – mixed 4x100m freestyle relay
• Welsh National Champion – 100m backstroke 2025 & 2026 and current Welsh record holder in the 4x100m mixed freestyle relay.

Sutton continues to perform consistently at an international level and remains part of the Swim Wales Elite Squad.
