Day five brought another exciting night of racing in London, highlighted by a superb senior international podium finish and a strong set of A, B and Junior final performances.
Silver in the Men’s 50m Freestyle
Sprint star Matt Richards delivered a great performance to claim silver in the Men’s 50m Freestyle, touching in a lightning-fast 22.07 to secure a podium finish.
A Final Performances
Men’s 200m Breaststroke
Maxwell Anderson finished 4th in the A-final in 2:13.45, just outside the medals after a strong race.
Men’s 800m Freestyle
Alex Sargeant placed 5th in the A-final with 8:03.93 in a highly competitive distance field.
Women’s 200m Individual Medley
Theodora Taylor added another top finish to her championships, placing 5th in the A-final ans setting a new Welsh senior record in 2:13.35.
In the MC A-final, Rose Williams produced a strong swim to finish 7th.
