Day four of finals delivered another exciting night of racing, personal bests and Welsh record success, with swimmers stepping up against the best athletes in Britain across both senior and multi-class events.


Men’s 100m Butterfly – Bronze & Welsh Record

It was a superb swim from Lewis Fraser, who stormed to bronze in 51.81, a personal best and a new Welsh Senior Record.


Men’s MC 200m Individual Medley – Gold & Bronze

A fantastic night for Swansea University’s multi-class swimmers:

– Rhys Darbey delivered a commanding performance to win gold (SM14) in 2:07.33.
– Dylan Broom secured bronze (SM14) in 2:14.62, continuing his strong championships.

Wrexham’s Rhys Darbey said:

“It’s the fastest I’ve ever been at this point of the season, it’s nice to see I’m improving and hopefully in the summer I can work on personal bests and setting new records.”


Women’s 50m Butterfly

Theodora Taylor narrowly missed the podium but produced one of the standout swims of the evening. The Torfaen Dolphin athlete touched in 26.46 to secure 4th place, holding her own in a stacked senior field.

Theodora shared:

“This week has taught me a lot, swimming against older swimmers, I’m also really pleased with my relay selection, and super excited to racing this summer in Paris!”


Women’s 400m Freestyle

Two impressive A-final performances:

  • Alexandra Bastone placed 4th in the A-final with 4:13.17.
  • Eliza Humphrey finished 8th in the MC A-final in 5:41.66.
