Meghan Willis

Meghan was first enrolled in swimming lessons simply so she could feel safe and confident in the water. She learned to swim at Llantarnam Leisure Centre, a beginning that neither she nor her family could have imagined would lead to elite sport.
Meghan was first classified as a para swimmer in 2017 at just nine years old, opening the door to national competition. Since then, she has made a powerful impact both in and out of the pool as a member of the Torfaen Dolphins Performance Squad.
A swimmer in the Welsh Elite Squad, Meghan became Team Wales’ youngest swimmer at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. At only 14, she reached the final of the SM10 200m Individual Medley, demonstrating her ability to compete at the highest level.
Meghan set a new Welsh Para record in the S9 100m Butterfly (1:15.38) at the2026 Aquatics GB Swimming Championships.
