Joshua Inglis is an emerging British breaststroke swimmer who has quickly made his mark across major European junior competitions. Inglis is a part of the Swim Wales National Squad programme and has been competing nationally and internationally.

His breakthrough came at the 2023 European Youth Olympic Festival, where he won gold in the 100m Breaststroke. He also showed his relay strength by helping secure silver in the Boys’ 4×100m Medley Relay and bronze in the Mixed 4×100m Medley Relay.

In 2025, Inglis continued his progress by winning the 17/18 years 100m Breaststroke title at the Aquatics GB Next Gen Championships, confirming his status as one of Britain’s top junior breaststrokers.

That same year, he was selected to represent Great Britain at the European Junior Swimming Championships, building on his experience from the LEN European Junior Championships, where he reached the 100m Breaststroke final, finishing 8th in Europe. At the 2025 European Junior Championships, Inglis won 2 Gold medals in the Mixed 4x100m Medley relay & Men’s 4x100m Medley relay.

At his young age, Josh has already gained a wealth of international experience and podium success.
