Teaching Adults CPD

You must be at least 16 years of age at the start of the course.

Training Format

3 hour theory based seminar with activities and checks on learning.

Who is the course designed for?

This CPD is for swimming teachers and assistants and coordinators

This workshop will equip you with the knowledge required to positively engage with adult learners within the aquatic environment, aimed at all swim teachers and lesson coordinators who work within the aquatic field and specifically learn to swim programmes. 

This CPD will aim to give swim teachers the relevant skills, knowledge, and improved understanding to deliver effectively, whilst at the same time reduce any fears that previously may have had. This CPD will explore the learner’s motivations and barriers when thinking about learning to swim, and how you can adapt the lesson to the individual needs.
