Everyone at Swim Wales is looking forward to the return competitive events after an 18-month absence. We are delighted to be able to welcome back our athletes, coaches, volunteers, and officials to join us at the Wales National Pool Swansea when events return this month. Following the delay, we need volunteers to help us deliver our meets safely and efficiently more than ever before.
We are looking for volunteers to help us run two upcoming events before Christmas:
- British Para-Swimming Winter National Meet – 11th-12th December
- Swim Wales Winter Championships – 17-19th December
Officials and volunteers who are interested in supporting these events are invited to submit an application for consideration. Volunteer roles include marshalling, announcing, runner, front of house, and many more. There are plenty of ways to volunteer, with a role to suit every personality type and skill set.
All our volunteers and officials are provided with event kits, refreshments, meals, and expenses claims. Application forms can be found attached to this email, please return to email@example.com and don’t hesitate to ask for more information. If you could return application forms by Sunday 28th November, it would be greatly appreciated.
All grassroots sport relies on the commitment and enthusiasm of their volunteers. Swimming is no different. Sign up as a volunteer and you will make a significant contribution to our national volunteer community. It’s a rewarding way to support the growth of aquatic sport.
For those who have already completed their Judge 1 qualification and wish to advance, a Judge 2 course will be delivered remotely on Tuesday 16th November from 7-9pm. Candidates need to be a minimum of 16 years old, and have completed their Judge 1 qualification. To book your place please email firstname.lastname@example.org by 12th November.
