TWO of Wales' top swimmers have been selected
to represent Team GB at the European Short Course Championships in
Chartres, France this November. Calum Jarvis and Thomas Haffield
have been selected as part of an 18-strong squad.
Calum, 20, originally from Ystrad Rhondda in the
South Wales valleys now studies at Bath University and trains at
Bath's British Gas ITC facility under the tutelage of coach David
McNulty. Thomas, 24, is originally from Neath and now swims for
City of Cardiff Swimming Club coached by Dave Haller.
The competition will be held at The Odyssey Complex in Chartres,
France from the 22nd - 25th November and will see the introduction
of mixed relay teams for the first time in international
swimming.
