Wales' finest swimmers will form part of a team of 19
British swimmers as they make their way to the FINA
World Short Course Swimming Championships in Istanbul this
December.
The squad of 19 swimmers includes 4 Welsh athletes;
Jemma Lowe, Georgia Davies, Jazz Carlin and Ieuan Lloyd.
The three girls all live and train in Swansea and
represent Swansea ITC based at the Wales National Pool Swansea
and are coached by Bud McAllister. Ieuan, at 19 is the youngest of
the four and from Penarth, swims for City of Cardiff Swimming Club.
He's coached by Dave Haller, who has also been behind the success
of Ieuan's fellow team mate, David Davies.
The event, which is being held from 12th -16th of December, will
also see the likes of London 2012's Hannah Miley, Robbie Renwick,
Fran Halsall and silver medallist Michael Jamieson.
