Swimming is so great, winter and summer.

Why don't try and be in the next Olympics

In Rio because of swimming.

Maybe you could win gold,

Maybe you could get silver or bronze because you if try hard  enough.

Icould if I tried hard enough.

No one must feel left out even if you're disabled because you have Paralympics

Go team GB.

I love swimming more than chocolate cake.

I love swimming more than a picnic by the lake.

I love swimming more than flying a kite.

I love swimmong more than the stars at night.

I love swimming more than all these things, It makes me feel as if I have wings.

Watching the Olympic swimming on the TV

I sit and dream one day it could be me

I pull on my bather and enter the pool

I've swam for a club before I started school!

Up and down the pool, kick pull and sprint

My mind wonders off to dreams of competition wins

With these thoughts in mind I give it my all

I hope one day it will be me who represents GB!

I swim my hardest and work my best

Working towards my dreams of Olympic success.

FISH V THE SHARK (THE FINALS)

"Lets go for a swim" says Fish to the Shark,

and lets take a torch for when it gets dark.

The scene is set, the race begins,

the large and small, a race against fins.

Shark was leading and in first lane,

Fish was losing and had so much to gain.

A little hero so brave and bold,

one little fish going for gold.

When out of the water, like a jet he appeared,

gained all his strength and nothing he feared.

Which proves when you're small never give in,

and to always finish what you're about to begin!

A Swimming Life !

A swimming life starts

when you are very small,

getting in the water

maybe playing with a ball.

My first swimming lesson,

getting older now,

feeling the cold, blue water

on wriggling toes, WOW !

Going for the Cardifftrials,

the email's come , I'm in !

Going to my first gala,

in my heart I hope I win.

Watching the Olympics!

Bronze, silver, gold,

will I get there someday?

will my path unfold?

People ask me why I do it ,

why I love swimming so,

going through the stages

learning as I go.

Diving, kicking, turning,

it really is the best.

Sculling, pushing, pulling,

better than all the rest.

I train around 5 times a week and look forward to every session. I am always focused on achieving by PB'S. When I am in the water nothing else matters, It's just me and the water. Nothing beats the feeling of the start of a race when I am on the blocks waiting for the buzzer.

I have achieved county qualifying times, Winning medals, and regularly beating my PB'S.

Going to the aquatic centre at the Olympics was so inspiring...it has given me even more motivation to reach my goals of being in the world championships and the Olympics.

My Star Place

Standing here hitting my head

My body feels just like a tonne of lead

The crowd is cheering me on

Feeling like a star that has never shone

Panting away I just cannot cry

Anxiously I feel so terrified and shy

I cant stop now seeing as everybody is watching

The race is finally here!!!

Focused on the finish of this race

The crowd can see the worry in my face

As I fall down.......down......down

I have just lost my winners crown!

Quickly a little voice in my head screams aloud

"Get back up and win the race"

Speedy I get up and chase

for my winning place.

Sprinting past the others I get to the finish line

Past the others I out run

Screaming so loud I won I won!

If I hadn't listened to the little voice in my head

I wouldn't have got there

He's now saying I told you so!!!

I cant believe I came FIRST

I feel like a bubble about to burst

Adrenalin pumping out of my heart

I have now won my star part

Bolting around the track with my countries flag

Relieved and joyful i mustn't brag

This is after all my OLYMPIC race!!
