Apply for Gold Accreditation

Assess whether your provision reaches the required standard.

If not (yet), create and apply an action plan to ensure you can achieve the Accreditation.

Once you have reached the minimum criteria, you can apply for a site assessment visit.

Choosing your assessment route

Providers can choose to be assessed in one of two ways:

  • Single Site Assessment (suitable for swim schools, independent operators)
  • Multi-Site Assessment (suitable for Local Authorities / Leisure Trusts)

Assessment involves a one day site visit by an assessor experienced in running Learn to Swim Programmes and assessing industry standards. For multi-site assessments a percentage of sites will receive a site visit and the remaining will receive a random visit for accreditation to be awarded.

Once Accreditation is awarded there will be one random visit completed within the next 12 months.
