CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

In the pool, I only began training properly once coming to University in 2010 - before this I was only training around 10 hours a week. Since coming to Swansea, my greatest achievement was qualifying for Nationals in 2011 in the 200m Individual Medley and the 400m Individual Medley, finishing 13th in both.

Before Swansea, I qualified for National Schools on 3 occasions finishing 3rd in the 200m Individual Medley in 2008. I won various East Region titles both at open water and in the pool. I also qualified for National Open Water Championships in 2010.

In 2011, I competed in the elite races in the Great North and Great Scottish swims.

PERSONAL DETAILS

Came to Swansea University in 2010 to swim and study. I am currently studying for a BSc Geography degree alongside swimming. I enjoy playing all sports, not just swimming, and before coming to Swansea I played netball and hockey on a regular basis as well as doing cross country where I competed at English Schools. I also did a lot of music where I achieved grade 7 in the piano and grade 6 on the flute as well as singing in choirs and playing in orchestras. I have a brother who is a keen cricketer and a sister has recently graduated from Exeter University.
