For swimmers with profound disabilities it may be more beneficial for them to learn within a closed environment. Wherever possible we encourage swimmers with a disability to integrate within a non disabled environment. However, if a closed environment is preferred then your Local Authority will be able to offer you further information on this. There are disability specific swimming clubs affiliated to Swim Wales available in Cardiff, Bridgend, Swansea, Pembrokeshire and Caerphilly.
